Oak Bay High School is renowned for its outstanding academic, artistic and athletic accomplishments — a tradition of excellence and innovation that has been built over many years by the talents and efforts of students, teachers and administrators. Many Oak Bay graduates have distinguished themselves in business, the arts, the professions and public service.

At present, the school enrolls about 1300 students in grades 9 – 12. Included in the student body are typically 80  – 100 International Program students, selected for their academic excellence, who board with local families and pay tuition in order to attend Oak Bay.
